Tuesday November 18 2008 Bali, Billabong has furthered stamped its authority on the Asian Skate scene by signing current Indonesian number 1, Pevy Permana. This true Indonesian talent will join the likes of Singapore’s Firdaus and Malaysia’s Usher as an A Team rider from Billabong Family.

Pevy grew up in Bandung, Jawa Barat, proving his skills from a very young age. The highly disciplined and dedicated young skater has proven himself at the most elite level many times, taking out a number of Indonesian Skate Association titles, placing in the Asian Indoor Games and competing at the X Games.

Pevy has a solid plan put down with the Billabong team, which includes a heap of travel, filming and shooting with BB International team and a few competitions along the way.

The introduction pf Pevy to the team was complimented by the addition of two others, in Arif Tole and Gung De. Tole is one of the smaller kids kicking around the circuit, but his huge bag of tricks makes up for his smaller stature. Tole will be seen a lot around the Bali scene, making his long awaited transition in to the more professional side of skateboarding. Gung De was another huge inclusion, coming back to the Billabong team after originally being signed at the age of 12. Welcome back !
